Here is some feedback sent to us either unprompted or in response to our post-sale quick feedback questionnaire. We had never heard of nor had any connection with any of the following until they became our customers, and each has kindly given us express permission for their opinions to be reproduced here.

Yes, the shelf is super. Easy and quick to fit and now painted white. Would certainly buy again. Couldn't find anything similar (ie right length, curved edges and floating) in any local diy store and wasted valuable time and diesel going round them all before finding your website. Thanks for your help.

I am very happy with my alcove shelves. Three things stood out:
1. The quality of the product is fantastic. The finished look is excellent.
2. The ease of installation is a revelation. Far easier than bracketed shelves.
3. Telephone and email communication from Shelbar is first class. Measuring and installation questions were answered promptly and clearly.

I'm pleased to attach some pictures of my new oak shelves which I'm delighted with. They match my kitchen work surfaces perfectly. The quality is great, your instructions were very clear and comprehensive and you supplied everything that was needed to put them up, which turned out to be very easy indeed. The fixing system was very good. I finished them with Danish Oil the same as the work surface and they look great. I would definitely buy your products again

I have very rarely written to a firm to say how good their product is but I just had to write to you. I am a 49 year old woman and fitting of 3 of your shelves was my first bit of DIY. The whole process was exactly as your instructions said, all necessary components were provided down to the drill bit and the rawlplugs and the shelves look really good.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the bookshelf kit that I ordered recently. It was a joy to find a fitting guide that was comprehensive and easy to follow, the instructions would be clear enough for even a complete diy novice to follow with confidence. To find things like wire cutters, nail punch, sanding pad, drill bit and rawl plugs included with the shelves was a pleasant surprise. The shelves are now installed, painted and loaded with books and look superb. I will definitely be ordering from you again and have already recommended shelfbar to a number of friends and colleagues.

The shelf set that I purchased has entirely lived up to my expectations - if not exceeded them. I was surprised and very impressed to find a punch, wire cutters, sanding pad etc included with the set. The instructions are wonderfully simple to absorb and the whole manufacture indicates a high degree of precision and innovation - it really is first rate.
I will most definitely be placing further orders for book shelves and single shelves for use as radiator shelves

I finally installed the alcove shelves last weekend - I had waited as I thought I would need some help from my engineer Dad to get them fitted - but in fact I think I could have done the job on my own.
I’m absolutely thrilled with them they look great. The way they were packed & labelled was impressive. They were surprisingly easy to install – everything was well explained and straightforward – the only piece of equipment I didn’t have to hand was a spanner/socket for the coachscrews.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again & I will certainly recommend them to friends & family.

I have now installed my shelfbar alcove shelves and am really delighted with the result. This is an excellent product, extremely well engineered and straightforward to install. Apart from these attributes, I was very impressed by (and really appreciated) the helpful responses I received to my enquiries before I placed my order. Also, the shelves were received when promised, were extremely well packaged to avoid any damage and the installation instructions were first rate.

All in all an excellent product which I would certainly use again and will recommend to friends.
