Installation alcove shelves

The installation process for cut-to-size Alcove shelves is similar to Single shelf (see filmstrip summary – installation single shelves), with additional concealed side supports installed on the adjoining alcove walls.

We will make the alcove shelves cut to the precise width measurement you give us.
See What’s the best way to measure the alcove width?

The alcove shelves are best fitted with the adjoining alcove walls at 90° right angle and vertical. The shelfbar® design allows for the fact that most alcoves are not as perfect as this and in most instances, providing you measure carefully, the shelves can be installed “as-is”. Alternatively, for difficult irregular angles or sloping alcove walls the shelves can be scribed (up to approx 5mm each end and more towards the shelf rear) to fit more closely the alcove wall profiles.

All cut-to-size Alcove shelf kits include full step-by-step Userview® approved Instructions, Fixing pack (including wallplugs suitable for solid and plasterboard walls, screws)
